New dictionary

Those who know me know that I have a fable for dictionaries. Sometimes I actually need something specific and take a look at what else they have, but every once in a while, I just go on a sort of online shopping spree. In any case, I always look through the sale categories and see what I might have use for, even if only theoretically. (That’s how I got for example my “Dictionary for Funeral Services”.)
My newest finds also include one rare example of the Siemens “Dictionary of Drives”. But, you say, that’s not a rare dictionary! You can buy it as book and even on CD-ROM!
True, except for the fact that this specimen is EN-DE-CN. Yes. Chinese
I knew this when I ordered it. What I did not expect, however, was that the entire book is Chinese! Title, tabs and all!

Luckily, the language pair I need is included, so all is well. It does cause some curious looks, though…. My 7-year-old niece thinks it is the coolest thing and now believes I speak Chinese, too…. 😉
It also is a rather large volume, but I am actually liking this exotic spine among all the German and English ones on my shelf…
